My orignial plan was to get a set of Talleys and call it good, but while doing research on them I discovered that the Talleys come with separate bases. I also discovered that the Warne rings clamp directly onto the receiver like the Tikka OEM rings do which is the simplicity I was looking for. Tally lightweight are one piece.I tried a few and liked them best.Warne's are heavy, as said.

I use the Burris signature rings with the offset inserts to give my long-range rigs 5-40MOA of elevation. The nice thing is that the inserts can swivel inside the rings because the inserts have a round external shape and the rings have a round internal shape, making it so that the inserts can pivot inside the rings depending on the angle of the scope-to-ring alignment.
