....I've been asked what Female #1 weighs today at 8 weeks of age. She's the largest female left at 8 lbs....I'd expect her to be mid to high twenty pound range as an adult, and perhaps 16"-18" tall.

...Thanks Tomahawk, I think so too!Raised many other dogs over the years, but since "Bo", my first Decker, I've been won over for good. Now that I'm an old fogey semi-retired, I've finally found the dog I've been looking for all my life..A REAL do it all dog!I've got to thank Teddy Roosevelt, a hero of mine. When I found out the Rat Terrier was his chosen hunting dog I gave the best of Rat Terriers, the Decker strain, a try, and that was that.

These pups (females left) are now just past 11 weeks of age, ears coming up now, and they weigh over 10 lbs each.
....I still need one good home for the last female I'll part with. You could pick from either Female # 1 or #3, I'm keeping two females myself, for hunting and breeding later on. Contact me if you want updated photos. Also I have testimonials from folks who've taken in some of thier litter mates at 8 weeks...Ian

....All the pups have now gone on to thier new homes! Thanks to everyone for leaving me with the total confidence that every pup now has a STABLE & LOVING home for his, or her lifetime. These pups are sold for an average price of more than double my asking price by leading Decker breeders, but knowing here on the campfire most anyone buying a pup would have the high costs of shipping, I cut costs down with my pricing. The money isn't the big deal for me, it is breeding better Decker's, and finding great homes.
....I love my dogs, I love this Decker Breed! I'm thankful for this great experience with my pups!I've already gotten wonderful letters from a couple of folks who got one of these pups, and are thrilled with it! I'm thrilled too! THANKS!
