I have a couple of Remington's 700s for sale here in central Texas(Austin area). I'm NOT willing to ship these at this time, so please don't ask and if you do, don't feel insulted if I don't reply to your PM. 1) Remington 700 BDL factory chambered in .221 Fireball. In excellent condition. This is a sporter-weight gun with a nice factory laminated stock. Includes bases and rings. ***SOLD*** 2)Remington 700 BDL Custom Deluxe in .300 Win Mag. Never Fired, excellent condition. Iron sights as seen in the pic. I don't have the box or paperwork, but it does come with bases/rings. ***SOLD*** Thanks for looking. Drop me a line with any questions or if you need more pics.

1) Remington 700 BDL sporter weight with nice laminated stock factory chambered in .221 Fireball. Great shape, pretty rifle. Has mounts and rings $485
I know what that is, and it's one HELLUVA buy at that price. FWIW, I bet it's this (correct me if I'm wrong), but I have one, and gave one to my uncle, and AFAIK, they are the only ones that Remington ever did to match your description: http://www.remington.com/products/f...cial_runs/model_700_LS_.221_fireball.asp Model 700 LS (.221 Remington Fireball)
Long a favorite of serious target shooters and varmint hunters, the 221 Remington Fireball delivers high-velocity accuracy and quick expansionideal for long-range targets or small game.

The stock includes a raised cheekpiece, black fore-end tip and grip cap, hinged floor plate magazine, and swivel studs. The clean, carbon steel barrel has a polished blue finish and is 24 inches in length with a twist rate of one turn in 14-inches. Drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

Yep, that's the one. I figure if I priced it lowish someone would want it locally and I won't have to ship it.

The refusal to ship, is damned puzzling.
Box the thing, ship USPS Priority to the receivers FFL, and you're done.

I'm in Austin, but I might be willing to drive a little ways and meet somewhere. I've been shipping a lot of rifles lately and the refusal to ship stems from people that are very slow to pay(2 weeks+), getting sturdy boxes for rifle size items, and people who are slow to pick them up from their FFLs(I don't spend the money till the person has gun in hand and is happy). I've had several deals take as long as a month and a half from the time the person has committed, and that's just plain nuts, it shouldn't take that long. Anyway, I figured I'd rebate the rifles a little and see if I can get a local sale.

Somebody better jump on this as I'm driving through Austin on the 12th and that fireball would come home with me!

Congrats on the quick sales. I'm really glad that I can quit thinking about that Fireball now!
