Naw, I think most BL22 owners are happy. Just fewer luck out and pick one, passing them over for 9422s and 39s. They are all nice guns, depends how they feel in YOUR hand that counts most. I had a 9422, shot the 39s, but will buy a BL22 and expect to keep it.

If I had every gun I ever sold..........LOL, some sure do stick in my memory though. The price we sometimes have to pay to keep trying new toys. Keeps it fun.

Does this browning have have a plastic trigger like the T-bolt? I am interested in the lever action .22's but I don't want another fiasco like the T-bolt.

Congratulations on a dandy little rifle. My dad has had his since he 9 years old, I believe, and it's killed many a coon, squirrel, prairie dog, etc. Here's my brother with it a couple days ago.

I won a BL-22 at a DU banquet in Sioux Falls back in the 70's. It's the one 22 I'd keep if I was forced to only have 1...course I'd have to talk my duaghter out of it. Great rifles.

Been wanting one a long time, when I get the funds, I will have one, and the only thing I can figure would be 'the one' any different, might be if they made those in a fine bead blasted SS and perhaps Lam stock.
Lots of humidity and sweat in my parts, but an oily rag protects pretty well. Always choose SS when an option for my tools.

Just traded mine to my Dad for either a Winnie 61 or 62A, his choice. I liked the gun, but it was in like new condition, and I felt I would never take it out in the woods as it was too pretty. Now I have a Marlin 39A which is in "shooter" condition for stuff like that.
Anyway, good gun, and I am sure you will love it. Dimensions are almost exactly the same as my little Marlin 39M Article II.

My dad had one when I was a young. He ordered it at the catalog desk in the back of our clothing only JCPenny's. We killed a bunch of squirrels with it before he traded up to a engraved Remington 541S for a little more precision.
I always missed that rifle so this year when my wife didn't know what to get me for my birthday I took the liberty of ordering up a shiney new BL-22 grade II. I'm in love again. With the iron sights clay pigeons at 100 yards are easy pickins. I'm a sucker for a shiny rifle.
I also like the idea it cycles CB caps perfectly. With the CB caps it's quieter than most air rifles.
