My Ruger 338 RCM all-weather.....When I get time I'm going to do his brother and cousin 338 Fed. and 358 Win. in the Ruger Hawkeye all-weather. (Fusion Camo and Webbing spray)
And then after finding out that carb cleaner will strip paint rather effectivly I had to repaint it. Used the same 3 colors just in a diffrerent order.
Mixture of Krylon camo and Rustoleum Camo with AlumaHyde matte clear coat. Started with a white base coat then added multiple layers of camo paint with foliage as stencil. When I was done I removed the stencils over the white. Got a little paint bleed under the edges of the stencils.
This was my practice stock. I don't have any photo's of the finished rifle with the new stock. It looks similar but I left the antler stencils off.
Tikka T3 Used Khaki krylon fusion for base and then just misted over it with two different shades of brown some black and some Kelly green. Clear coated it. Not sure how tuff a finish it is but well see here in a couple of weeks
I've always been different with one foot over the line.....
Very nice paint jobs everyone. I too would like to know how to do the webbing paint. I know the old school way is to use a brush and sling can paint till you get the pattern you're looking for.
