Check the manufacturer's website for factory ammo. Different 22lr ammo can vary a lot in muzzle velocity.

try to google Mini Palma. I suspect somewhere in there you'll be able to find the answer to 200 at least. I think they had or have a forum too.

http://www.eskimo.com/~jbm/calculations/traj/traj.html

Reverse calculate the BC based upon the ballistics from the manufacturer's website, then run the calculation.

For example, my favorite is the CCI .22LR SubSonic HP 40 gr. lead hollow point. Factory ballistics show muzzle velocity of 1050 fps, 963 at 50 yards, 928 at 75 yards, 897 at 100. 100 yard zero gives +2.3" at 25, +3.9 inches at 50 yards, +3.2 inches at 75 yards.

Reverse calculation gives a BC of about .118.

Run that for the parameters above, and you find that with a 100 yard zero, you're minus 14.7" at 150 (-9.7MOA), -41.8" at 200 (-19.9MOA), -82.7" at 250 (-31.6MOA), and -139.2" at 300 (-44.3MOA). BTW - velocity and energy at 300 should be about 707 fps, and 44.5 ft./lbs., for that load.

Lots of work, but a good way to figure it if no other way! Good job! I know one thing, 22s get blown all over the damn place at 200 yards already.

With ammo so cheap you can afford to learn the trajectory by shooting. This is always prefered to using charts.

Your more than welcome, I got it off the net 5 or 10 years ago myself.
Glad to pass it on...

The information I am giving is for a federal 36 grain copper plated hollow point. Since you gave me no specifications on barrel length I will have you run the velocity at 1240 ft/s to be safe. Try running a B.C. value of .134 G1 and then input everything else as close as possible into a ballistics program. This should get you pretty close to hitting those 7" targets at 300 yards (: .22 LR long distance shooting is very fun, I went out to 325 yards once and the bullet impact went out of my scopes field of view!! I would find my target, line the crosshair up, raise the scopes field of view out of the target, pull the trigger, and then look back at the target to watch the bullet impact, it is interesting seeing how long the time of flight is. I just compensated because I didn't think my scope would handle all the clicks =p So I just left it alone, I hit my target too! Thank god .22 LR ammunition is cheap, it took me a lot of shots!

Here is a chart on 22rimfire showing that as the velocity decreases the BC increases.
http://www.exteriorballistics.com/ebexplained/22rimfire.cfm

Also in BGunn's post above the fiocchi 22sm200 at the lowest speed of the shorts at 650fps shows the highest BC.

Which is right?

I don't believe BGunn's figures are entirely accurate. For example his table shows 60gr .22LR with among the lowest BC. Among bullets with the same nose and tail (which I happen to know the 60gr shares with most 40gr .22LR) it should have the highest BC at any velocity because of its increased length and mass.
