Do you carry loaded, if so, under what circumstances?
For instance, if you're hunting timber, and it's thick, do you load so that you can shoot quick in the brush when you see something? Or do you walk unloaded to then load when you see your quarry? If so, how do you keep quiet when loading?

We carry our guns loaded when hunting.
When using a large knapsack the safety will get pushed off on a M70 type rifle if the rifle is carried on a strap over my shoulder. Thats not hunting.
All guns should be locked up when not in use!

If I'm moving there isn't one in the chamber but the belly is full and I'm generally always moving.
I worry more about wind then noise.

I carry loaded but with blue tape over the muzzle. Thusly obviating any .. .. never mind.

only magazine is loaded until i start walking (regardles of the game). once i enter the timber/swamp/thickets/etc. there is one in the chamber. been doin the same for at least 45 years. always works for me. ymmv.

I don't recall whose quote it was, but it was best summed up, the only people I trust to carry hot are the ones that carry empty.
When I shoot a gun, it is loaded, carrying a gun is not shooting, hence the chamber is empty.
