Anyone know where I can buy 250-3000 ammo on the web?
Or in the Houston, Texas area?
Thanks,
Richard

not to insult your intelligence, but you know the 250-3000 is the exact same round as the 250 Sav right? Any descent sized sporting store should have some 100 grainers.

Try Carter's Country. They have 4 stores in Houston. Gander Mountain might have it but they are usually 10% higher than retail in my experience. Bass Pro used to have it but haven't looked lately.

RAS, that's decent prices on that one. Could get 5 boxes at $20 each shipped to my door. Hard to find any ammo for any cartridge at $20 any more. Lots of folks love those Core-Lokt bullets, also. 300 Savage for same price.
Gonna bookmark them.

Excellent ammo and great service but the loads are a bit under factory velocity. I ordered 100 rounds a few years back in .300 when I didn't have the time to load my own. Worked well but a little under powered. Just another sign of the times I guess.

Ah, all of my deer are dying just fine with loads under factory spec. Deer don't care.

Hey! Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining about their ammo. It works just fine. Just saying that its not quite factory specs. IIRC I lost about an inch at 100 yards. Not nearly enough to lose minute of deer. I only mentioned it because there are those that want to wring the last FPS out of what ever they shoot. Ron T comes to mind. While I don't doubt that his loads are safe in his 99 I know from his posts that he wants to get the last safe FPS from his loads. Nothing wrong with that. Just that you don't get that performance with WCC ammo.
