I will respond to the serious posts and even some of the uninformed ones who think they are capable of playing "gotcha", but aren't.

As usual, those of you who know nothing to very little about the thread topic begin posting bogus photos and links, claiming they are me. The only persons impressed by your childish lies are the other childish liars posting similar bogus photos and links.
None of you will be posting any photos or knowledge of your own about this topic; you made that obvious. I'll check back sometime to see if any of the adults come back after your stink leaves.
See my previous post about the evolution of M118 Special BALL ammunition from the 1926 M72 ammunition for the .30-06, using the same M1 bullet, nominally 172 grains, 9-degree boattail FMJ.

I began shooting the M-14 and other rifles at FT Benning in 1968. Lee, may I ask what your age is? Surely it's not an intrusive question. His age varies depending on the question he's answering. By his resume', he's about 286.

When people face the possibility of freezing or starving there is little chance they are going to listen to unfounded claims of climate doomsday from a bunch of ultra-rich yacht sailing private jet-setting carbon-spewing hypocrite elites

I know owners of tow truck businesses who earn more money than most cardiac surgeons, so maybe some of you should look into that, when you get old enough to drive.

---- Civilian M-14s -----------------------------
Yes, there are some civilian M-14s out here. CMP, (then DCM) had some checked out and ready to be picked up by those of us on the waiting list when President Clinton ordered their destruction. Some were sold to police and sheriff's departments. Some survived, and may yet be sold through CMP. Most of the M-14s were not selective fire, anyway.

I do know the one you claim to have, or I'm sure now you'll say you had, was never made in any shape or form.
