Not a spiced rum fan at all. Now if you have some Ron Zacapa 23 Anos...... You left the tilde off 23 Anos....means something else besides 23 years... Well I am just not smart enuf to put one on and I really don't care. Everyone else knew what it meant. @##$@#$!% forum critic.  You're right. I was just being an.....ANO! I don't know how to do the tilde thing either. Haven't drank much rum since the pre Castro days. But just finished a hot buttered rum with Myers dark rum.

Hot buttered rum....that sounds good! Haven't had one in ages! That or a Tom & Jerry. My Grandpa used to make those at Christmas! Dang it was good to be a kid back then!

What the hell is a hot buttered rum? I've heard of it but would never consider heating up rum and butter together and drinking it...I think...

Schitt I thought Texans knew everything!  Hot buttered rum mix has among other things brown sugar, corn syrup, spices, butter, etc. You mix it it with hot water and rum. Didn't you ever have butter rum lifesavers when you were a kid?

Try Pusser's Rum. That was original issue British Navy "Grog".
