This past spring (my first turkey). North-east of Mt. Hamilton. Yup, California sucks.

Here's a couple of pro turkey hunters for you. My 12 year son and his buddy teamed up on this one last year. My son did the shooting with his 20 ga. and his friend all the calling. They managed to bag two toms in two days. The birds my son called in this spring. He located, set-up and called them in on his own. I just sat back and and let him do his thing.

Man, those boys have already outdone alot of adults I know, Congratulations. It doesn't look far from where we go in the Custer National Forest. Here's a few pictures just for fun, see if you can tell which one doesn't fit...

Shrapnel, wait, I've got it, there's no 30-30 hole in the salmon.
Custer National Forest, don't know what your talking about, never heard of it. We go to a secret spot in the Hellologal National Forest. Turkey hunting's a great way for kids to learn hunting and being in the outdoors.
Are you hitting the Bozeman gun show this weekend?
