Well, given MRCs business practices, they'll keep in business just fine. They have no problems lying and raping people, which is great on Wall Street... So since all they worry about is cashflow, they'll be around a while...

OK, i did got my laminate stock from Acurate Inovations for my MRC1999 375 HH 6 weeks ago but i am still waiting for the action to be finished, so am still on time to cancell the barrel deal without $$$$ penalty.....but on the mean time i've been thinking to buy just the action from them and send it to HART CO., to have a complete gunsmith package done and install their barrel..... Does any of you guys have HART barrels in a caliber like 375 hh installed on your rifles??? http://www.hartbarrels.com/rebarreling.php

the barrel that i was thinking am afraid is on the heavy side being #5 sporter,25" long SS about 4 1/5 lbs, it was part of the barreled action deal from MRC.....and cannot do much to change it even ordering from HART CO or others becuse the stock from AI is made for that contour

Charlie Cooter still around?
Dan, Charley died in September. I think a lot of folks missed my post on here because his last name was spelled Kuder. He was my friend, and I miss him.

I got real lucky with my Serengetti stock, I called them at the same time I ordered my charter issue MRC action back in 02. I told them what I was getting and ordered a AA Claro stock laminated, ebony forend, ebony crossbolt plugs, checkering, metal grip cap, decelerator pad and their custom oil finish. They charged me $1,100. That same stock today is pushing 5 grand. Magnificent rifle, and the stock is top drawer; great lines.

Got a Serengeti stock in 2004 and was done as promised. They even accomodated a few changes I wanted that weren't their standard offering. I'm pleased with everything, from the stock configuration, materials, inletting, accomodations, etc... They were great to work with at the time.
An honest man's pillow, is his peace of mind... JM
