We went on a hunting trip of a different kind. This time for hidden treasure. A friend had bought some 308 ammo back during the Clinton years and hidden it in a root cellar somewhere in Central Montana. Without GPS or any current navigational help, we went in search of the buried treasure. Now I have a bunch of 308 ammo that needs to be sold, I guess I had better find out what it is worth and see about liquidating my treasure.

He is in Indiana, lost all interest in guns and is now flying a Gyro-copter. He wants to sell the ammo to help pay for a new rotor on the Gyro.
Believe me I couldn't make this up!

last time i went into one of those old root cellars around here in winter all i found was bout 200 garter snakes and a dozen bullsnakes

last time i went into one of those old root cellars around here in winter all i found was bout 200 garter snakes and a dozen bullsnakes That was lucky. An acquaintance of mine bought a place about two miles from here and was putting in a new house. The old root cellar had a huge rattler in it.

All these snake stories...it was only 20 degrees, not much to fear from a 20 degree snake.
