OP lovesomeshootin Campfire Regular Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 2,737 Pacific Northwest	Just about done with the rifle now. Only thing is waiting for my Ziess scope to arrive in the mail. Started out as a plain savage 110 with brown wood stock and blued metal. Now I've painted the stock with krylon fusion tan and krylon black webbing paint. Latest thing was cerakoting it sand color. Here it is, what do you think? Some people think I've spent to much on it but the coating will keep it from rusting and the rifle freakin shoots tiny groups all day long. 4 shots under 1/2" at 100 yards. Disabled American Veteran. U.S. Army 2000 - 2007 Proud to have served.

Krylon Khaki or OD Camo with black webbing and satin clear coat is my favor home-done stock painting component mix. Will the Ziess occular lens clear your bolt handle's lift with those rings? Most of the 110's are bloody awful but the Rifle Basix trigger is cheap and a great upgrade. Piece of cake to install, too. Other than that, great low dollar serious hunting rig. Add matching barrels in 25/06 and 35 Whelen and you would have a do it all rifle, not that the 30/06 is not already. I am just a nutcase about specialization. Good job there. LOVE God, LOVE your family, LOVE your country, LIKE guns and sports.
