We always knew what bases held Class V weapons, as they were listed in the classification guides. Imagery of nuclear weapons depots is/was disseminated as Secret. With a few exceptions, Air Force base imagery was otherwise FOUO, unless they contained said depots.

After the AF flew nuke weapons across the country by accident a couple years ago, you'd think the guys in that career field would have their stuff wired tight ...

I know a lot of guys got fired there at Minot, but I dawn the tin-foil hat and have to ask if it was really an accident, or did it reinforce to certain nations that we do indeed have nukes and those nukes can be mobilized easily....too easily.

just surprised how open info. is now. we all had top secret clearance and well investigated before being transfered to the sac support units. there was only 4 of them. castle, barksdale. biggs and minot. of interest is that kirklands depot was one of the best kept secrets. just surprised it is still active after all these years. i dont think many knew that sac had 4 sqads. of c124 globemaster a/c.
