Borden Timberline 300 Win Mag
First let me say that Im not desperate to sell this rifle. I have an itch for a similar build but in 7mm Rem. If I can not recover nearly replacement cost Im keeping it. If youre looking for a steal this is not for you. I dont itch for the 7mm that badly! This is a chance for someone to not have to roll the dice with a build, not have to deal with the headaches, not have to deal with all of the shipping back and forth, not have to wait, and be assured of a proven, extremely accurate, rifle that in my mind is the perfect hunting blueprint for a 300 win mag (I wouldnt want one any lighter). I have posted pictures of groups below. One is a ten shot group with the 168 TTSX hunting load and the other is the only two groups ever fired with the 175 SMKs. I have fired no other bullet in this rifle. I have performed absolutely no load development, both loads were the first one tried. I have no practical need for any more accuracy. The rifle bangs 600 yard steel with amazing small groups from the 168 TTSX. This rifle is a shooter and apparently not picky at all.
The only disclosure I feel is necessary is that the flutes on the barrel are not timed meaning that the top flute is not perfectly in the 12 oclock position (probably more like the 11 oclock position)
Borden Timberline 300 Win Mag with .339 neck (neck turning NOT required). Bob Green is the gunsmith (greensrifles.com). Includes rings and bases but not scope. Rifle has approximately 150 rounds down the tube.
Weight including steel rings and bases and Zeiss 30mm scope is 8 lb 5oz. A few easy steps could be taken to lighten the rig to around 7 lbs 8 oz but I honestly wish it were a little heavier than 8 lbs 5 oz. Factory BDL versus the stainless PT&G, Talley lights (included, see note below) versus the steel Burris dual dovetails, and lighter Leup versus the Zeiss and youre easily in the mid 7 lb range.
I feel it necessary to list prices so that you guys dont freak. Quality adds up.

$30 Wyatt magazine box
$35 Remington spring and follower

BTW, my youngest daughter would be hot if I didnt include her picture with the rifle. I can email larger versions of the pics posted if you pm me your email address.
