Dr GUlley was in south africa to hunt but not lion. he was in a bar with some friends one night when a PH that had had quit a bit to drink started talking about a lion that had been wounded and he tracked into a game preserve. DR Gulley told told him that he would like to hunt the lion.he said the PH gave him the you don't got the money look so he asked how much. the PH told him 10,000 and he agreed to it. this guy is worth millions owns about half of port aransas tx and is a big offshore fisherman. the video tells the rest. now is it possible the PH was bsing him i guess but Bryan always been a strait shooter for as long as i have known him. i knew about this lion he had shot for several yrs. but didn't see the mount till today as was doing some work at his house on the island but didn't realize that this video was of his hunt till he showed me it at his house and i remembered seeing it on here

Yes, that video has make the rounds, but.......there is soemthing about that video that sure suggests high fence hunt with inexperienced folks all around.....
