I just realized I'm booked to teach at a LE conference in San Antonio the day after the hog hunt ends... which means I can now write off my airfare, shipping, and everything else for the hog hunt! Woo-hoo! You officially.................. I wish I could make it, but duty (work) calls.  It would be worth the trip just to see Keith make excuses about missing.  BTW, he is scared of hogs. I have it on good authority that he wet his britches on his last hog hunt and claimed he was hoofed...  JM  You wish girlyman.....  When they open up griz season I am inviting you up for a hunt

I might even be halfway acclimated to warmth by then...the snow is starting to melt here....but it is only early March and out worst storms come this month and next........

What the heck is rain? We got white stuff falling out of the sky! We don't see rain until June and only if it quits snowing!

I'm definitely wearing mine. Call me pu$$y all you want, but getting bit when you don't have to makes no sense. Mine are the old style that LaCrosse made for Cabela's about 10 years ago. Rubber bottoms reinforced with the snake "resistant" cloth, air bob soles, with the "resistant" canvas sewn on the rubber up to the knee. They lace up the front. I wore them for 7 of the 10 years that I hunted in the swamps of North Florida. They do work.

I was just stiring the pot to keep this thread within 6 pages of the top. Your bears would not make me feelgood out in the woods, something you are more than likely used to. So we are even.
