I don't shoot CAS but i do use the 97 for hunting. My present 97 is almost new having less than two boxes of shells down the tube. I have hunted with the 97 since i was a teen and love these shotguns. I guess you could say they are my favorite Winchester Shotgun of all times.
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

I have a 16ga I inherited from my father inlaw. I never shoot it, and was thinking of putting it in the classified section, and wanted to see if there would be any interest.

The '97 in 12 Ga. is used quit a bit in CAS actually.

I use mine in CAS. Lots of other folks in my club use them or reproductions of them.
