This is a very nice rifle, I have to let it go. I haven't had a chance to shoot it, but I can tell you it has a 24" barrel with a bore that shines like a mirror. The open sights are there and the safety is on the left side on the back of the bolt. There is a hairline crack at the tang that has been epoxied from the inside, the lug has also been bedded, everything is solid. The stock is the light European walnut, monte carlo, with nice checkering, few dings, no gouges and only the repaired crack mentioned. The length of pull is 14", 1" of that is a black decelerator pad. Thin white line spacer on the pistol grip cap. Sling swivels and a lever release hinged floorplate. The trigger is not real light, but breaks clean with hardly any creep. All the numbers match, barrel, receiver, and bolt. FW Heym is stamped on bottom of barrel, just in front of the receiver. I can send pictures via email. 400.00 shipped and insured to your FFL in the lower 48, will also include a one piece Redfield base. Thanks, Rick

Telling what cartridge the rifle is chambered for is customary and helpful.

It's in the title, but I'll make it more noticable.
Yaa, that looks better. Thanks

Darn, I looked at the title twice to be sure I wasn't making a fool of myself. I failed!

Well, I gotta say, the "308" looks better and you can't miss it at the front of the title.
