It is the shadow of the antennae... Ordinarily I can take the recoil of a .223...though I shot that rifle almost 800 times that day.... The Nylon 66 w/ Red Dot of Doom is almost-not quite- "tacticool"... Ingwe

I just got it today actually and love it...it's 70% med blue and 30% black. I saw another on here and really liked it so ordered one myself. I think his color combo was different though, I think his was 60% med blue and 40% black.

Sweet. Nice work. 6.5x284 Norma mag. Savage 12F. Scope cost more than the rifle. Here is my new scope freshly mounted also but not SS although the 30 inch x 1 inch is stainless.
It is better to be judged by 12 than to be carried by 6.

Cooper model 21 in 222 Remington - 22 grs of Reloader 7, 40 gr Nosler ballistic tip. 327 yards - one shot = BANG-FLOP! drover
223 Rem, my favorite cartridge - you can't argue with truckloads of dead PD's and gophers.

Ingwe - I just put it on the Cooper a day before I shot this coyote so my track record with it isn't very long.
This one is the 4-12x40 and my initial impressions are that for the money it is very good. No parallax issues, clarity seems to be better than a VX-1 (sharper, crisper image), the adjustments are a little soft (they do not give a good solid click when adjusting) but they seem to be spot on, it is just necessary to pay attention or you can overrun a click. So far I am very satisfied with it for the dollar value.
Now the bad news - previous to this one I purchased a Redfield 3-9x40 and it had significant parallax issues so I returned it and purchased this one.
I would take a chance on another one, hopefully the first one I got was an anamoly and this one is representative of them.
