No don't do that. I want to kill a buffler with it. I just put a Red River Long staff ladder sight on it. Just got it last December always wanted an 1886 Winchester. That buttplate concerns me though. Shooting a 400 gr bullet out to work well on buffler....but that darn curved butt plate...

Saeed really got those folks with that canon! There is a bunch more over there, though I've only been there a couple times in the last few years. So they may be gone.
I'll tell you fellas one straight up, honest fact. The socializing with the group is every bit as fun and enjoyable as the hunting.

Bob ,are you planning on bringing oysters to the hunt,or can you ship them to a resident when they become available? I am also concentrating on getting my Ruger 375 as light as possible , ordered some 350gr Woodleighes from Midway. With 85gr Rel 19 ought to generate some recoil! Charlie
