Is it a wood smoke smell, or an electrical smell?

When we turn our AC on the first time every year, it blows a dusty type smell. Could it be that? It goes away after about 5 minutes though.

I know that smell... burning the dust out... its not its pure wood stove smoke.

I"m thinking we had some rooms closed up so tight it was more the unit trying to equalize such small spaces vs Cu Feet of air it was moving... that actually sucked the smell out past tiny spaces in the pipe joints, in the stove seal tapes and so on.

We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
