Super on the house. I've noticed alot of houses being sold around this area lately too. seems like the market may be coming around some. I would like to put mine on almost but no room for all the stuff in my sheds. The wife is down in Roseville this week at meetings, i think i should buy a new gps for the boat as long as she's down there!

Thanks. That was my biggest worry really. Now we need to wait for the inspection. Should go pretty smooth, the house is only 6 yrs old. All the stuff I did to it I had permits for, so it was inspected.

First people that came through bought it. Good offer too, 5K less than we were asking. We didn't even counter. We didn't think it would happen that fast, but now if we can get an offer accepted by April 30 we can get a tax credit on our new one too.

Now is the best time. Get it installed quick too, then it's just there when you take the boat out. grin Not that I would do anything like that... No honey, I don't know why we got a title in the mail for a truck you didn't know we have. grin

Congrats Tom.

I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

Hey Rooster, I'm going to try to get to the auction tomorrow. If I do, I will drop your hat and beanie with Special K. smile

Sorry it is so late. It has been so crazy around here lately. I was looking forward to the cold one, maybe I will make it over someday.

Thanks guys, including MrsND and Muffy.

Ingwe, homes are moving in our area. Maybe this area is on the up and up. Our house is also priced in a good price range too so that helps. I am surprised at the speed it sold, there are probably 1500 houses for sale in our price range, in an area with a small population. Our town is 5K, but the surrounding area is about 40K total. Pretty small.

The bigggest challange is convincing my wife I'm NOT living in a house with a tiny lot or a lot where I can't build a garage.

These places don't let you keep your stuff outside, well then I need a shop. To say it's causing a bit of tension would be a safe bet.

I'm going to have to "redneck" up a neighborhood it looks like. grin

My house will be easy to find, it will be the one with the American flag in the yard and all the "burn out" marks in front of the house. grin

Congrats Tom! That is a good feeling isn't it?

Hey Muffy! No problem and thanks. I wasn't worried. Wish I could have made the auction.

Congrats on the sale of the house Tom. We just got word that our nephew and his wife sold their house over in the Green Bay area this past week. It was on the market for just under a month.

Ours was 16 days or something.

People are moving on them for sure. Maybe the tax credit has something to do with it. 8K is a big chunk of change.
