The rifle I could live happily ever after with is my Kimber Montana 7wsm. 160xlc's. 6x42&CDS. Nothing fancy, but I feel I could take it anywhere.

What make(rs)etc... Hows this for a delayed response? Sorry about that....didn't check back in on the thread till today.. The "boring" rifle mentioned is an off the rack Mark X Mauser in .30-06....no makers involved, I rasped the stock into shape, shortened and put on an ebony forend, Bbl sling swivel, english red pad, and re-did the checkering. Nothing fancy I assure you. Topped it off with a 1-4X Leupold....it is accurate and utterly reliable.. Another pic... Another one in Africa..this is Ingwewifes " African Gun".. Another view.. And Ingwewife back in the good old USA with the rifle.. Sooooo, you can see the boring rifle has been around the block, so to speak Ingwe

My Montana is at Pac-nor getting a new 7 WSM barrel right now, should be delivered any day, can't wait. It'll wear this stock when it gets here:

Ingwe, Not bad looking. Needs a purple and pink swirley paint job.
