Well my son is out. He can't get off that weekend. They are branding and it is a big operation.

I've got so much going on between now and then, plus uncooperative weather, that I may not be able to complete the necessary preparations for the rifles I intended to take.

I know what you mean. I may just bring my 223 and 243. For some reason I'm still nervous about using a 223 for deer sized game. See what Virginia Game and Fish has done to me!!

They tell me 10-14 days for my passport. Don't think I'll get an my permission for firearms in time though.
If I do, am bringing my 375 Ruger for sure. And the R.A. XCR if possible.
If not, I will need to ask of y'all to borrow one. Will let you know.
Plan on leaving no later than the a.m. of the 18th.
