Pat what will happen if we don't have 20 guys? I don't think it will be any problem, the trip is a go one way or another. The price, which is substantually lower than the ranches normal rates, was negotiated for at least twenty. I'm just trying to hold up my end of the bargain. No worries! Yeah, but once Mark tries the boerewors, he'll let me hunt for free & invite me back again.........

Bad news, Nathanial has an unforseen obligation that will prohibit him from attending. Mackman has injured his shoulder and may not be able to make it. By my count, that brings us down to 18. We really need 20. Any ideas? It's a real shame that the great State of Louisiana may go unrepresented at this deal!  Steelie needs to go AWOL......

I have a feeling he is a "rising star" in his field and is a pretty busy man right now.
Oh well, you'll find that these things are like family reunions... somebody has to not come so you'll have someone to talk about.

I'm gettin' the itch. Was going through my light river tackle boxes earlier.
If anyone plans on catfishing I can bring a couple pounds of my "homemade" stink bait. I guarantee it catches catfish (channels and blues), better than about anything. You don't have to touch it, I put cattails in it so just punch your treble down in it with a stick.
I'll be fishing for bass and sunfish, but I'll be glad to bring the bait for anyone else.

I just constructed 20 new noodles last night. I'm bringing them. I'd love to try your stinkbait, but I want to put some bream out too, for flatheads.

If you have room, or like to flyfish, yes. I will bring what I have, which consists of mostly bass type tackle.

Light bass tackle, 4-8lb test spinning rods. Similar to what you'd use for hardware fishing for trout.
