I expect we'll be getting to the Contessa around 530-6pm ourseleves.

They're easy to find! Crabs are pretty easy right of 87, North of the salt water retaining wall too. Ya want me to leave my traps out and mark them for you? It'll be a sure thing.

Sure. Go all they way to the lake and keep on 'till you can see where the bayou that runs under the bridge by the old fish camp (Bailey's) enters the lake. It is best on an outgoing tide, when it is almost a sure thing for redfish. It is good wade fishing, but can be done without getting wet.

We'll take turns. Your the BBQ guy, though I think BYC thinks he can take us. Competition BBQ is all about the 6 judges you pull and whether those 6 judges like your turn-in. I've had six hate my stuff whereas the next 6 (all different) love it. Luck of the draw. Nice part about an event like yours is everybody tries it all and bases an opinion towards all the cooks. I realize there is no judging there BUT I'm confident all cooks will all be first class and worthy of any MIM or KCBS judge standards--Likely BETTER!! Just don't let Bob enter his Velvetta, ritz cracker, peanut M&M and whipped cream thingie---

Yeah, I wasn't going to hunt but was gonna drive out for the day just to meet everybody.
It ain't me getting married, but it's close enough that the benefit of being there outweighs the cost of not...
We'll have to do it again next year. I'm sure it'll be a blast.
