Guess I need to start packing then, trip is here. I'm packed and ready... I'm not going to San Antonio, so will leave DFW early Friday morning. Will not take that long to pack cloths, a few guns and stuff. Just need to get some cash and Twinkies for bait.

Hey.... a last minute offer...
I've been staying out of this thread because this is not an auspicious time fer me to participate in this endeavor.
But.... seems like some of you guys is in town tonight.
Got a school function keeping me late.
But, depending on what time folks has to be on the road in the morning (you are about two highway hours away from Junction) I could possibly get free to show someone around in the morning hours.
Tour would include greasy, heavy but good Tex-Mex at a place run and patronized by actual Tex-Mexicans somewhere deep in the South Side (survival guaranteed). Might set ya back a whopping $8, and you'll feel like you will never need to eat again...
...and...
...we have four OTHER missions besides the Alamo...
...and one of only eight intact FW 190's still in existence (crash landed in Norway in '44 after following a stricken Beaufighter too far down....)
