It was truly my pleasure to spend time with you and your son. Who cares about the hunting when the company is good. Too see ya'll two trying to get on those fox when they kept popping out was the highlight of the trip, in a good way. I wish the hunting would have been better as that chaos can last all night if you catch it right. I realized when I got back we never got a picture of your fox.
Hunting with you and the Okie's were a true pleasure I assure you.

Success is found at the intersection of planning, hard work, and stubbornness.
I'll do both. I go to see the doc this AM to get another cortisone shot. This crap keeps spreading around. Next time I'll wear a white sequined glove instead of a camo one, that should raise some eyebrows.

I never thought I'd get into the axis and varmint hunting the way I did. That varmint hunting and the education GregW gave me truly blew me away;it was that cool. I also went in thinking axis would be unchallenging and unrewarding. I was dead wrong. Those axis are every bit as way as deer and more difficult to pattern, at least for me.
I tode ya they acked differnt hear...
The only thing worse than a liberal is a liberal that thinks they're a conservative.
Mike I've got it on my innner thigh,Debbie spotted it ....I can't even look at it without getting it spreading all over....Dr. usually perscibes Prednisone for me
Yeah, they either prescribe me Prednisone or give me a shot of Cortisone. Either works, it's just the shot works faster.
Must have been a very close inspection to locate it.

I don't care who you are thats funny.
Side note I tacked up pics of Dan's and Allen's axis bucks in the office now. I have pretty much decided I will be hunting an Axis next spring. Would do it right now if I could... Man those deer are cool.
Thanks for so many good memories and good time from both me and Stephen. You guys/gals are top notch.
I was standing to your right when they handed you the pig sticker. I was purely glad when you didn't pass it down the line.
I think Bubba introduced himself as "L.V." (?) when I met him at the dog truck before he had started to suit up the catch dogs. Did anybody else catch that?
Did Stephen enjoy himself? It looked like he was having a ball.

Nice I couldn't get them strippers to hit....Had one hooked and got lazy tying the knot on the hook and It broke off on Stephen...after that they wouldn't touch my offerings

Oh my god did Stephen ever enjoy himself. It was all he talked about the entire way home... all 905 miles of it. He keeps telling me about what was his "very favorite part" of the trip was, and its different everytime. From Pat putting the stalk on him at breakfast, to Dan letting him catch that fat little bass, to riding that tire horse, and bouncing around the truck while Constant played that dirty trick on him tapping his shoulder I think everyone in his school has heard about all HIS new friends from our trip to Texas.
David I posted a couple of group pictures a few pages back, there are a couple of us on that stone patio and I think one of a bunch of with Dan and his axis.
I'll post a couple of them again though in a minute.
