Pat,Pat,Pat....I'll be fine. Eastern shore horse fly bites are worse as are Canada black flies. It's just one of those itches kind of like poison ivy where scalding water even feels good.

Good, the way it was posted sounded really bad. I mean, "marble sized bumps" was making me think of that show "Alien".

Ammonia will take care of most anything... I thought you told me Beer takes care of everything Im having a few now, there not going to work???? Beer and ammonia... and tequila. beer, ammonia and tequila...not necessarily in that order...

I walked into the kitchen area the next morning and Teri was on her second piece of watermelon and telling me how good it was (hic). I told her what was in it and she put it down before she got buzzed too much! ---------------- Your lovely wife ranks in the top 3 women I've ever shared a hunting camp with. She was a great addition. Teri, along with Debbie and our cook Theresa, made for a perfect blending. Redheads are special!! Thanks Bob she is a dandy. I could search my whole life and not get that lucky again!

Ya should have maintained a BAC of .06 or so. I find when I'm camping they don't like my blood with all that alcohol or maybe I just don't notice.

Dude, you wake up to that reality every day. And, I toldja how to get rid of the damned things. Hayfields, which is where I spent a DAMNED good chunk of my misspent youth, are rife with chiggers. You get good at knowing how to get rid of them. I always went with the scratch-like-hell-and-douse-with-turpentine method. My younger brother, IIRC, did the hot wax... which may explain much about him, now that I think about it... So, for you, yeah, the hot wax method is likely quite appropriate.
