One thing to watch out for with the vld's is seating them properly. I had an older seater once that seated by pushing on the meplat instead of the ogive because of the long skinny shape of the vld. Seemed to give me problems with run out.
I don't think it's a common problem with most dies or I would have heard someone else complain about it by now but it did give me some problems. I switched dies and groups shrunk by half.
I also like H1000 although I'm not currently loading 300 win I am switching my 300 RUMs over to H1000 and getting more consistancy than I was with RL25.

I've tried Retumbo. It just didn't give me the accuracy that RL-25 did. Hopefully H1000 will. I did get up to some crazy speeds with retumbo.
