Selling a Bell & Carlson Medalist with the full aluminum bedding block for a Remington LA 700 (BDL). Tan w/ black webbing. Barrel channel has been opened up for a mag contour - barreled action in the pictures is a .338WM. Stock has been bedded with Devcon and is in good shape. I've tried to show in the pictures any significant flaws - the most noticable being a little bit of sanding in the bolt handle recess and a small nick near the tang where the paint is missing. Has a 1" Decelerator pad. Looking to get $170 shipped. Thanks, Kevin

Would you be interested in trading for a show duck? It won a blue ribbon at the county fair two years ago.

Initially - I hadn't planned on entertaining any trade offers. I have however, always wanted a "show duck"! Do you have any pictures of your fowl that you could share? What is your ducks name?
Oh... and thank you for your interest!

Will a standard barrel contour look out of place in this stock? Will it fit?

No pics available right now. Thought you would like to know that the duck has been finish reamed for a truer fit. It also tracks very well.

Would you be interested in selling "show duck" if trade doesn't come together?

Will a standard barrel contour look out of place in this stock? Will it fit? A standard contour will fit without a problem. The clearance with the mag contour is plenty generous, and the gap with a sporter contour will obviously be larger. Whether it's acceptable or not is more of a personal thing I suppose. If you would like, PM me your email and this evening I could snap a picture or two of a sporter contour in the stock.

KDF, i didn't want your stock anyway. Brute, I actually am not willing to sell show duck out right. By the way, her name is Ted. I would be willing to trade for a new McMillan A-5 stock for a remington short action BDL, heavy varmint contour. Just let me know if that will work for you. I had someone from our local pharmacy value Ted at $850.00, so this would be a good deal for you!!

Did you ever take the pictures of a standard contour barrel in the stock? I would like to see them if so.
Thanks, Jason
