I like to use liquid Brasso on a nylon brush. It has just enough ammonia in it to remove copper and just enough abrasive to shine up the bore. I use it mostly on Mini 14 barrels and rifle barrels that have been mistreated or neglected. It won't fix every problem but it seems to help the guns I have used it on. kwg
