OP 99tguy Campfire Member Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 121	i recently purchased a 99 Model T. Could somebody tell me on the front site is the orange bead a insert or does the orange just wear off?? I have seen on Gunbroker that the gun was missing the orange insert. Mine does not seem to be missing anything, but it is not orange. is ther such a thing as a orange insert if so wear can find ? And some came from the factory with the standard front sight of the day, which sounds like the case you have described with your rifle. The 99F is much easier to lug around, but you're going to like the recoil from the 99T much better off of a rest. I like 99T shooters. Got a few, two in 250 and the rest are 300's. If it is immaculate.. might be best to treat it as a safe queen and find another to take out shooting.
