A marlin Mod. 20 22LF that I bought from payless in 1978,Of course with my dads help. I mowed lawns to save the money up for that rifle. I have a single shot bolt action marlin that my grampa gave me about 1977, I don't remember the Mod. of this one. To cock the action you pull a ring back, the "catch" is brass and worn out. I need to fix it one of these days.

Got a 22 Browning trombone that Mom bought Dad two years before I was born. Dad willed it to me when I was younger, but I didn't get to claim it until later. It was bought in August 1948 -- I was born in September 1950. -- 62 years (the rifle)

Have had my favorite Husqvarna .270 Win since the summer of 1970. That's 40 years. Also have a Sako Forester 22-250 and a Mannlicher Schoenauer .30-06 bought at about the same time while stationed in Germany.
