OP rc82bttb Campfire Tracker R Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 3,403 Central Washington	The wife and I both drew bull tags that we have been putting in for for some time. She still wants to shoot her 7mm-08. Any thoughts on a good choice of bullets? Recoil is an issue so I am wanting to stay in the 140 range. Thinking 140g Partitions may be the answer but want to hear other thoughts. Rick

8mmwapiti Campfire Regular 8 Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 894 Saint Maries ID	Before I knew that elk could not be killed with out at the very least a premium bullet and better yet a mono metal bullet I shot 154 Hornady interlocks out of a 7 mag and stacked up a lot of elk without a problem (acutely a few where tooooooooo far from the road, not the bullets fault). The partition will work fine as will most any hunting bullet. 8mmwapiti Last edited by 8mmwapiti; 07/21/10.
