Well.... like a nightmare at this point.

WOW. What is OutdoorCali talking about? And sensitive much? They were pointing out your horrible mistakes at planing a rifle build. Please for the love of a Mauser. Don't do it, hire someone.

People sometimes never learn. Maybe send him a book about basic gunsmithing?

I think that a better choice for a scope would be a Swarovski4-12x42Leupold VX3 with an M1 turret. wink

Mulie_Man,

Why does your handle have Mulie in it but your avatar is a Whitetail?

You must surely be confused?

Thanks for pointing that out. A little hard to look at a small picture. I will fix it for you Tom.

It would be much better with a Bushnell Nikon on it. laugh

Finished by Roger Biesen about two months ago. It's a 6.5 x 55 on a G33/40 Mauser action (built for the mountain troops) with 1909 Argentine bottom metal and stocked in Turkish walnut.

Good luck with your planning. It took a loooong time for my dreams to materialize!

Best,

Al

Your rifle is stunning. I'm not sure whether I'm feeling inspired or defeated by it's beauty. I need a beer. Thanks for the pictures, Ken

I am sorry about all my little screw ups, like the extractor, scope mount, blah blah. I didn't have my head into the project. I cleared my mind and re-thought my plan. Sorry again. I will never mess up again!

A "Bushnell 4-12x42 Nikon Prostaff"?

You obviously don't have your head into firearms. Bushnell is one (POS) company; Nikon (fortunately) is another.

Self-reincarnation to bum-rush himself?

Too stupid for all but the shallowest gene pool trolls....

This one HAS to be a Maser devotee.....
