Chucky - check this one out. You don't get the flexibility of adjusting the hanger tension, but it worked ok for me. I ended up bedding Area "B" first , then area "C" to prevent forend rocking.

Been there and done that with four different Ruger #1s. I am a slow learner. I spent lot of money on various bedding options, new triggers etc. One 22 PPC actually shot about 3/4" but one day it would be two inches high right, the next an inch or two in another direction.
Pretty guns, but I'll never own another.
