I'm watching deer hunting on the outdoor channel, I have dreams of deer, and in the mornings I get that deer camp itch. is it fall yet?

Much better than the nuddie bar itch.

CBF is going to Morhead Tehnical College. He got accepted at NDSU but it is the same thing for 2 years where he is going instead of 4 at NDSU.

why do it in 4 if you can do it in 2

I'll be headed down to your neck of the woods next weekend, going to visit the grandparents on cormorant, my brother and his family are coming up so I'm taking little man down to see them, then we're going to hit up Rollag and see the steam engines and stuff, with the way my boy loves trains I'm sure he will eat it right up

Oh man, the little guy is going to love it at Rollag. We took CBF there when he was little, he had a blast.

his big thing now is Thomas the tank engine, big trucks and tractors. so my guess is he will LOVE Rollag

Man, is there any little boy that doesn't love trains? My little guy (5) could watch trains all day. He just loves em.

Went to our first pre-season game of the year. Vikes vs. Seahawks. As far a football goes, it was a bit slow. The Vikings clearly didn't want to show the playbook. They only ran 5-6 plays over and over.

Well guys, they finally logged off the area on the way into camp. all that area marked out with blue paint has been cut. We were out there yesterday and it's quite a surprise, very different.

Should be good for deer hunting.

Also we saw some familiar tracks in the sand on the driveway to camp. Actually on the cabin end of the ditch road. Big ole fork toe is still around & his tracks are even bigger now.

We used to lay a can, a beer can down next to his track for size comparison and his track was the same size as a beer can laying on it's side.

Now his track is bigger than a beer can laying on it's side.

now that's all I'll be able to think about today rather than school, thanks dave.
