Karl has a VERY impressive amount of trophy whitetail mounts in his basement. Not sure if this thing will fit..... Agreed. Congrats Karl, looks like you'll have to take out the double sliding door walls to get it inside. That thing is HUGE!

I am hoping that Karl will chime in here once he is settled, but he was using a 7 mag that he did a little custom work to. I called in the bull by "accident" I was trying for a different bull we seen go into the brush. Then this guy came out looking for a cow. He held up at around 350 yds. He would not come in any closer no matter how much enticing. W/ the treeline only about 50 yds behind him, the shot was taken. We were a long way in and the trip(s) out just about killed us. The walking was not bad but the hind qtrs just about did us in. I have havested several large moose from the area I took Karl, but this one was the largest. Karl is an easy going guy, dosent drink, smoke nor cuss-just like me. He is going to have a shoulder mount done to it and the meat and cape will be shipped ount to him on Tuesday.
Karl, when you get home and have time, you will have to tell your version a little better than I.
