I checked SAAMI and it does list the 270 at 65,000 PSI, I guess I was assuming a 30-06 case and it is rated lower, but only by 5,000 PSI, at 60,000
That was kind've my point A lot of folks aren't aware non-belted, non-magnum cartridges like the 270, or 6m Rem, etc, run at pressures equal to the Weatherbys.
