Does this bullet spike pressures as opposed to the Interlock? I know hornady says data is interchangeable but I do wonder.

I think it's a hit and miss with what caliber. My 300 win mag using 165gr GMX got high pressure at 77grs with RL22. Current load not is 75grs and accurate. However, using 130 gr GMX in my 270 win with no problems using same data.

So far, so good using GMX's in one of my 30-06's.
165's using either Hunter or H-4350.
Accuracy and velocities have been very good; no pressure signs.

Rifletom,

Just to pick your brain. I plan to try the 06 out using 165 gmx's using H4350. Would you mind sharing your load data?

the 150 GMX works great in my 308 Win with book data. It works well on elk, too.

Overall are they as finicky, as to accuracy, as other premiums?

Sure,here it is:165 GMX, 57.0-58.0 H-4350, Win. cases, Fed 210 primers.
OAL:3.320 MV over the screens avg 2830-2860 fps depending on powder charge.
Accuracy is 7/8"-1.25" .
So far, this load has worked well at the range.
Haven't taken any game with it yet, but feel very confident with it.

This is one bullet I have yet to try or work up at my bench! I just can't seem to get my hands on any around me. Don't know!

I worked up to 59 gr of H4350 with 165 GMXs out of my 30-06. I have not noticed any difference in pressure with the GMX compared to SSTs or Accubonds.

I have found them to be very finicky, but once you find the right spot in seating and powder chrge they seem to shoot very well. It just takes me a little longer to find the right load.

Fotis, I'm with Mod7Nut on this . It took a little fooling around, but when it came together, it works juuuust fine.
Tinker with it a bit, you'll find it. Good luck.

I noticed the factory ammo is loaded quited deep into the case as well. Opened a box of factory ammo and couldn't see any ring on the bullet so it was seated at least past the last ring. I did find that the deeper I seated the bullet, the better it shot as well.

Here's the differnce seating depths made at 200 yards from my abolt 06.

Guys, Big correction on my OAL:
3.230, NOT 3.320!!
Sorry if this fouled things up.

With 150s in my 308 I may have noticed a little more pressure signs using the same load I use with Hornady Interlocks, but nothing that was a concern. Accuracy has been easy to get in the two rifles I've used them in.
