Remington 40XB Thumbhole in .22BR, ditto in .243 Win, also one in .250 Savage. There is also one in .25-06 with a Fajen thumbhole stock (dumb thing is although it is a single-shot the stock has a floorplate.) Although I don't have it yet, there also is a 40XB thumbhole in .257 Roberts on the way. Oh I almost forgot, I have one in 6mm BR with the standard wood stock. Do I qualify for the single-shot club?
hondo: just what else would a fellow need in the wiregrass in mid-january? i can't think of a thing ...
Nothing except the time and opportunity to put it to use! I missed most of deer season this year due to galavantin' around the world, compliments of Uncle Sam.

Stevens Favorite BSA Martini 12-15 Martini Peabody, 45-70 Winchester 67 (my boyhood rifle) Browning High Wall, .270 Remington Rolling Block, 257 Roberts (The 257 Bob is just too gay for me) Savage 219, 22 Hornet Two muzzle loaders and several single barrel shotguns.
It is a limited run version. Ruger 1A 7.62x39mm in SS and walnut. Soon, I will post a pic of it and my 100 yard target. Outstanding. Did I mention how sweet the factory trigger is?
Never cared for the Ruger #1 finger lever or the styling of the various #1 stock configurations. So I have a Ruger #3 in 45-70. Love the straight grip.
Just one, one of the Zulu War era long lever Martini-Henrys recently shipped out of Nepal....Currently without a No.1, but looking hard at the Dakota Model 10.

I had a Ruger #1 .375 H&H, an Encore and now I am the proud owner of a Taylors & Co. 1874 Sharps .45-70
The 40XB Thumbhole in .257 Roberts has arrived. I'm chomping at the bit to get out and shoot it now!
I made all 5 of these rifles: #1 405 Winchester on Action of my design similar to a Fraser #2 The first rifle I ever made 25 years ago. I call it a Sharps 1876. Again my own design. Note the hammer coming straight out of the wood. It's in 40-70 Sharps straight and I probaly have shot 15,000 times. #3 A rifle I built for my youngest boy. It's also a 40 cal and based on a 444 Marlin case. #4 A 45 cal bullet muzzle loader. It shoots a 410 grain grease groove bullet and is loaded thru a false muzzle. It has a pop up tang sight and is based on the Alex Henry sporting rifles. It can shoot a 3" group at 200 yards. #5 a Flntlock English style sporting rifle. .54 Caliber.
