I played hookie Wednesday morning and went hunting. I shot a doe at 61 lasered yards out of my 270WSM using a GMX bullet. Velocity at the muzzle is ~3100fps. The bullet entered near the back of the rib cage, angled through the chest, exited the opposite shoulder and then hit a tree. The doe ran about 50 yards before piling up. The damage was extensive and she left an easy to follow blood trail. I found the bullet at the base of the tree.
