My sympathy is for the guy who got shot. None for the rest.

I didn't understand a word you said, but whatever it was I'm right there with you.

+1000 to that!
I was going to say the same thing in an earlier post. The trackers I met and hunted with in Zim were truly exceptional people. During a dust up with a leopard, and in close quarters with buffalo and lion they were staunch.Until then I had never met men without fear, but I had the privelege of hunting with a couple of them I would wade into anything with...

Many years ago, I was sitting on a big limb in a white oak hunting deer in the mountains of western North Carolina. I heard the leaves rustling and saw a large bobcat come over a nearby ridge. Apparently, he was feeling frisky, and he would run in short, quick bursts of speed and then just jump. He could jump farther than I ever dreamed any animal could. He kept doing this over and over. I was sitting there, completely spellbound, just watching the show, and he suddenly came zipping up the trunk of the oak that I was in! When he got to within about 18" of my feet, I came out of my trance and blew him away with my 870. I would have rather not shot him, as it ruined my chances of getting a deer, and I was really enjoying the show, but I didn't know what else to do. Thank God for reflexes, is all I could say.
I had a small kitten get a hold of me one time too. I thought it was just a small domestic kitten, but it was wild as a speckled trout. It had got into a mountain Inn where I was working as the night auditor. I reached down to pick it up so I could toss it outside, and that thing climbed all over me. I thought I would never get loose from that durn demon! I have a large scar that goes right down the middle of my nose still from that incident. The wound took a long time to heal, because it was so deep. I don't like cats to this day. Pound for pound, I'll take a bear over a cat any day. They are natural born fighting machines, that's for sure.

Under the circumstances, with the information then available to her and only a very few seconds to act, I believe Brittany did the right thing. She very well may have saved the tracker from a much more serious mauling.

I would welcome her to my hunting camp at any time without reservation.

I hope this accident doesn't turn this lady off from hunting, but since this is a money thing for her and her dad it may not.

A quote from a professing Christian. I thought better of you than that.

Actually, Ringworm was quoting an old Jerry Clower story. "Knock 'em out John!"

I follow a show on YouTube called smoking tire and I saw this link about Brittany Boddington. Apparently she's done dozens of soft core porn shoots, especially foot fetish. Not good press for good ol craig to have his daughter in porn. Here is the link: http://www.hottbarefootwomen.com/models/brittany/

It is her but frankly I see nothing wrong with it. Women model feet, hands, etc without going the tasteless route. jorge
