Put dried large lima beans (after soaking all night in water) in crock pot with just enough water to cover, along with a whole chopped white onion, a clove of garlic and some left over ham. Added just a bit of salt and pepper and about a tsp. of chicken granules. (Will test seasoning and adjust when we get ready to eat.) It is smelling real good about now. I have a buttermilk cornbread in the oven in my cast iron frying pan. That will do it for us.

We had a blizzard roll through last night and today. Between shoveling and cleaning cars, I made a big batch of Pasta [bleep] with chick peas. We had it for lunch, and then for supper with left over Italian sausage, potatoes, and peppers. It was good on a cold day.

Pasta [bleep]...love that stuff. Got a clone recipe from Olive Garden. It has cannellini beans and ground beef. I think garbanzos would be great. I will try it your way. The rest of your supper sounds good too. Thanks.
