I guess you could say I've got the AR bug, as back in November of 2011, I had exactly zero ARs. Now I've got three of them complete and a fourth that's just missing a handful of parts.

The 1st one is my daughter's. It's a Palmetto State lower that I assembled myself (1st one) with their lower parts kit. The stock is a Magpul MOE. Upper is a DPMS 1:9", 16", SS, heavy barrel in 223. She and I painted the stock, handguard, grip, and magazine using Krylon Fusion. I had ordered her a pink Hogue handguard and grip, but she wanted red instead, so like most women, she got what she wanted. Scope mount is a JP Enterprises unit with a Leupold VX-R 1.25-4.

The second rifle I put together is a Scorpion Tactical lower, generic lower parts kit with a JP Enterprises triggger spring kit, which makes for a surprisingly nice trigger. Magpul MOE triggerguard and grip with a Magpul ACS stock in Foliage Green. The upper is built by White Oak with the 1:7" twist, 18" SPR contour barrel in 223 Wylde. Topped off with a LaRue mount and a 2.5-10x24 Nightforce NXS.

Numero tres is a Scorpion Tactical lower with generic parts kit and a Timney trigger. It's got a Magpul MOE Plus grip, MOE stock, and MOE triggerguard. The upper is a 264LBC that I picked up second-hand, built by Specialized Dynamics with a 19.5", 1:8" twist, Lilja barrel, threaded 5/8-24, which should work nicely with the Thunder Beast 30P-1 I have on order. grin It's topped with a LaRue mount and a Mil-Spec Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50. I plan on launching 100gr TTSXs out of it at piggies.

If they don't spray until they lock open and have smoke roll off the barrel, they just aren't complete...

Here is(was) my AR collection. I recently traded off the one on the left it's a Superior Lower, DPMS Sportical upper, Ace Socom adjustable stock, 20" Model1Sales 5.56 1 in 9 twist fluted barrel,DPMS BCG Daniel Defense LPK, Hogue FFT and Pistol grip, MAGPUL BUIS, EOTECH 512 (I kept that), Bennie Coolie Compensator. Shoots 1 MOA with pretty much every cheap range round I put through it.

The one on the right is my build I just finished a few weeks ago. Dtech lower, Daniel Defense upper, YHM quad rail, DPMS BCG Blackstar 20" .223 NM 1 to 9 Twist stainless barrel, RRA 2 stage LPK, Magpul butt stock, DPMS pistol grip, JP Enterprises Muzzle break, Burris PEPR 30 MM scope mount, Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x40 30MM tube scope. Haven't shot it yet.

Got a .22LR upper in the works as well as a 6.8 complete rifle.

Here is a better pic of the AR I'm never getting rid of.

hunt_ak, neat paint job on your buddies rifle. You do realize that RRA scope mount is technically on bass ackwards, right? grin

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Here is my RRA LAR-8 Predator and my LAR-15 mid-length "winter special". I was at the range running some loads thru them this weekend, and they are sub MOA guns with boring regularity.:)
