My favorite car was my 1969 Ford XL convertible that I got new. It was ordered with the 429 4 barrel and air. It was powerful, comfortable, safe and looked good. I drove it until it was worn out. My previous car was a new 1966 Porsche. It was red and was cool for its day but the Ford had room for guns and game. My snow car for skiing was a 1970 Olds Toronado. It had studded snow tires on the front. It was blue and a handsome car. They came with a 455 V8 if my memory....
All guns should be locked up when not in use!

1969 Charger R/T 426 Hemi 4 speed car bought from the original owner in 1972 42,000 miles.Sold it after the gas crunch for $1600!!!! Ouch!!! Car had every option, power seat's,window's.No A/c cause they couldn't fit it under the hood with the Elephant motor. Also had 1964 Barracuda 273 4 speed car and 1969 Barracuda 340 Formula S 4 speed. My son & nephew are Ford freak's and have at least 6 Mustang Cobra's and SVT's and the new 500+ HP Shelby GT 500.

Here's a horrible pic of my 1955 F-100. She's got some different wheels on her now, and cleaned up a bit. Running a pretty much stock 351w, C-6 auto, soon to install a Lockar shifter, carpet, and seats from a 06 Avalanche. If I can scrounge up the $ I'd like to get an Ididt steering coloumn and wheel. Distant future plans are for front disc conversion as well. I wish I had a better picture of this, I'm pretty embarrassed of the condition it is in, in these pics.

With the 3 two barrel carbs, that was one mean ride. (Meaning the 1965 442)

Don't hold me to the year... but I believe it was a '67, maybe a '68 Camaro with a 327. Wasn't mine.
Sexy car and oh my the young lady it belonged to......
Fastest thing I was ever in was a Goat; don't know the year. It could pull the front tires off the ground. Scary!
I wrecked a hot-rodded '65 Mustang into a 6-foot-thick adobe wall in NM in '82. Fast car. That sucked. Still have the scars...
But the most terrifying/exhilerating thing I ever drove was one of those 6-cyl Kawasaki motorcycles from the 70's.
The CENTER will hold.

It was a tie between the 68 Charger and 68 fast back Mustang until I saw the accessory package on this one! Looks to be worth every penny IMHO!

The OP had it...'68 Charger R/T with the Hemi if I could only have one. Of course, I would 'update' the susp, brakes, tranny, etc and boost the engine cause the original 'Elephant' was naturally 'underpowered'! I came after the muscle car era and, of course, they're way beyond my means now (thanks, ya' damn baby boomers! :D) but one can still drool, er, dream.

Hey Jeff, I had the great pleasure of having the Kawi Mach III and Mach IV triple 2-strokes as my first road bikes at the tender and newly licensed age of 16. Too much engine for its brakes and chassis (esp. on the backwoods, deer infested roads of NE WI! esp fun at night with that 35 watt headight) but I'm still here today! (My 1000cc V-Twin crotch rocket is soo light years ahead!)

LOL Roger
Which car is that above? Looks like Indy valvecovers. I put the plian ones on the 446 in the Cuda, need to paint them black to make the Hemi orange engine and alum Eddy's stand out more.
I didn't think they had power wseats in 69 on a bucket seat car? Most were either standard or 6 way, or was that only cuda's? Yea, a hemi rt 69 charger is one of the top Mopar's for value.
Cars sold recently at Barrett are an indication the market is pretty soft, I believe, unless it is a one-of car.
