Had to use metoprolol--a very good drug--today in fact. With more and more of the geriatric (no offense) population coming to surgery (at least until 2014) and being hyprertensive, it's a common occurence.

Thanks; I appreciate it.

No offence taken.

Metoprolol has given me a better quality of life after Methotrexate and stress from illness took it's toll on me. I am 49 and some days I feel geriatric, to be honest, some days, I look geriatric, but don't tell anybody okay ? wink

BTW, your welcome smile

Laborer at anything I could find and performing musician until finished with the B.A degree with wife and daughter, then public school teaching with great students and still writing and performing music until part-time university work got me to the Masters degree eight years later, with four daughters.

Then on to college teaching, and still writing and performing music, until more part-time university work got me the Ph.D. ten years later. On to leadership work and "presidenting" colleges and later consulting for college leaders, but still writing and performing music. Eventually tried retirement three times, and now seem to have that almost correct.

All along the way I maintained and repaired our vehicles myself, and constantly have enjoyed shooting/reloading/hunting since 1962. So, aside from minor intellectual pursuits to keep the brain half-awake, I work on our many very old trucks and one old Corvette, shoot/reload/hunt, and write and perform music. The more things change, the more they seem to stay the same.

The greatest constants have been my beautiful wife of 50 years and those four girls - and the wonderful sons and grandkids they have brought us. God is Good.

Very interesting line of work.

Mostly frustrating nowadays. The combination of over-regulation and the poor economy has pretty much sucked the common sense out of it. Reducing actual pollution has taken a backseat to dealing with carbon dioxide as a toxic and GHG.

Forgive me my nonsense, as I also forgive the nonsense of those that think they talk sense.
